PhoneRecap — Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

By using PhoneRecap you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

  1. What the app is. PhoneRecap shows a recap of how you use your phone, built from Android's own usage records on your phone. It is for fun and reflection.
  2. Not advice. PhoneRecap is not medical, psychological or professional advice. Numbers can differ from other apps (for example Digital Wellbeing) because they count in slightly different ways; the app explains how it counts.
  3. Your data, your phone. Everything stays on your phone (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for what you choose to share, such as recap images or an export file.
  4. No warranty. The app is provided "as is". We work to keep the numbers correct and honest, but we cannot promise they are always complete — for example when Android has deleted older history.
  5. Limits. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app's design or content for another product. App and icon names shown inside the app belong to their owners.
  6. Liability. As far as the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss from using the app or from decisions based on its numbers.
  7. Stopping. You can stop using PhoneRecap at any time: delete its data in Settings and uninstall it.
  8. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  9. Changes. These terms may change; the new version will be posted here with a new date.
